Planting Seeds of Hope

Planting Seeds of Hope is a federally registered, not-for-profit organization that is committed to supporting children on their journeys of self-discovery. Through alliances with Indigenous organizations, Planting Seeds of Hope is designing and implementing new models of education that are culturally and spiritually based. These models strive to awaken the spiritual nature of the child to their life's destiny. Programs are rooted in ancient Indigenous knowledge and bring children and their families into balanced and meaningful relationships with the natural world.

In 2011, ANIA partnered with Planting Seeds of Hope to lead the implementation of the Children’s Lands program in Canada. Planting Seeds of Hope is proud to be the National Headquarters of Children's Lands Canada. There is a beautiful synergy that exists between the two organizations. PSOH believes that as children spend time on the land, they are being imprinted by the land and connected to the living Spirit of Mother Earth and the natural world. Because Children’s Lands honours the voice of the child and gives children a way of developing meaningful and loving relationships with the land, it is building the Spirits of the children and allowing them to believe in themselves and their potential.
